A short one, but trying to keep a weekly selection of tracks going. Crushing hardcore, impeccable punk from a label that does no wrong (Convulse), chill electronic with a bass that gets stuck in my head, spanish punk, seemingly lost folk rock from 1974, ending this playlist with a Jazz song that absolutely rips, with a tuba and guitar defying the world.

Adrian Tchaikovsky
Better late than never, right? Tracks from last week that caught my attention, bouncing through hardcore, japanese psych rock, techno, dark electronic ambient, soul crushing doom, and dungeon-synth black metal.
This one took me a good long time to complete but I’m happy I got through it. Recommended!
Introduction
So here it is. The first post (again). I’ve tried blogging, or keeping a public journal, many times in my life and I’ve never been able to stick to it. Who would read this? What do I write about?
Turning 41 and having 2 kids has narrowed my priority list to a point where I know what I like, what I don’t, and what I want to record. What do I like and what do I plan to write about? Horror movies, ice hockey, books, and music - particularly going through discographies.
Maybe (big maybe) my kids will look over this at some point. Or I’ll find like-minded folks that become friends through this. Or I just use this as an easy outlet beyond a private journal. Either way, I hope this sticks.
